Dell has updated the range of gaming solutions under the Alienware brand with the release of the Aurora R9 gaming desktop. A feature of the system unit, made in the original design of the case, was a wide selection of configurations and advanced cooling capabilities. Another novelty of the brand is a 55-inch OLED monitor with 4K resolution, high refresh rate and an impressive set of interface ports.

The Aurora R9 desktop, despite rather compact dimensions, provides convenient installation and good cooling of all components due to a modular design. Depending on the configuration, the desktop is equipped with a power supply of 460 or 850 watts and an Intel processor up to the flagship Core i9-9900K, the amount of RAM of the novelty (HyperX Fury DDR4-3200) is up to 64 GB.

Installation of the Intel Optane module and two solid state drives NVMe in the M.2 (PCIe) slot with a capacity of up to 2 TB each, as well as SATA HDD (up to 2 TB, 7200 rpm) is supported. Two NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080s are responsible for the graphics capabilities of the gaming system in the maximum configuration.
